MORE COOLER, DENSER AIR, PRODUCE PROVEN HORSEPOWER!!!

Introduced for 2002, the front-drive RSX replaced Acura entry-level Integra. Though similar in dimensions, tit featured new styling and promised more power. The new model came only as a two-door hatchback coupe, whereas the Integra had been offered in coupe and sedan body styles. The RSX came in both base and sportier, performance-oriented Type-S trim. Each used a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The 160-horsepower base model(155 hp 2006 models) could have a five-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic transmission. In the Type-S, the engine made 200 horsepower (210 hp 2006 models) and was available only with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Type-S had a firmer suspension, but the same 16-inch wheels and tires as the base model from 02-04. In 2005-2006 Type S models are tucked with 17-inch 5 spokes and base model is 16-inch twin 6 spokes. Both versions included antilock four-wheel disc brakes and front side airbags, plus automatic climate control and a sunroof. Leather upholstery was standard in the Type-S and optional for the base RSX. The Type-S also contained an in-dash CD changer. Overall the RSX is made to be driven and a very attractived styling.

AEM Cold Air induction system specifically tuned for your 2002-2006 Acura RSX.

A Cold Air intake system relocates the filter outside of the Acura RSX engine compartment to deliver the coolest air inlet temperatures possible. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horsepower and torque. But that's only part of the power equation. Tuning the inlet pipe in length and diameter to match the Acura RSX engine's resonance helps move more air to the cylinders (think of your engine as a big air pump), and this tuning allows us to deliver the maximum power gains throughout the entire RPM range. We also monitor fuel trim correction factors and all OBDII sensors during R&D to eliminate leaning the engine out and/or throwing a check engine light.

Our Cold Air systems are dyno-proven and tested against the competition with the goal of creating more useable power than any other system of their kind. Every AEM Cold Air induction system features the highest standards of construction and we are so confident in their fit and performance that we guarantee them for the life of your vehicle. All AEM Cold Air systems are either 50-state legal or pending (excluding "Off Road" and "Hybrid" systems), include a lifetime DRYFLOW Synthetic air filter and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Then sent it back for independent testing to see how efficient the filter would be.
