MORE POWER, YOU NEED BETTER FUEL SUPPLY TO THE MOTOR
Acura RSX Fuel Rail is important for tuners of NA and turbo charged engine. When tuning a high performance motor more gas is needed for the car to run at its best. The pressure regulator can be installed on it to be adjustable for adequate amount of gas needed to run perfectly. Fuel rail essentially a pipe usually resembling a rail used to deliver fuel to individual fuel injectors on internal combustion engines. Rail is designed to have a pocket or seat for each injector as well as an inlet for a fuel supply. Some fuel rail also incorporate an attached fuel pressure regulator. Fuel rail are used on engines with multi-point fuel injection systems, although some multi-point systems use a fuel distributor with individual pipes or tubes to feed each injector rail.
AEM high volume fuel rail feature a 1/2-inch fuel bore to support fuel flow for applications up to 1,000 horsepower. This large bore also dampens back pressure pulses created by larger injectors and works perfectly with stock injector sizes. An additional 1/8th NPT port is included to accommodate a nitrous set up or fuel pressure gauge. A custom fuel line fitting is included for the factory fuel line, and the ends of each rail are pre tapped to accept different size fittings for tuners who want to use custom fuel lines for the rail.
- No additional parts required for installation fuel rail
- Fuel rail is specifically engineered for each application
- Fuel rail is anufactured and assembled in the USA
- O.E. fuel pressure regulator or AEM adjustable fuel pressure regulator mounts directly to rail with no modifications
- Fuel rail have comprehensive installation instructions, hardware, fittings and injector O-rings included
Introduced for 2002, the front-drive RSX replaced entry-level Integra. Though similar in dimensions, the car featured new styling and promised more power. The new model came only as a two-door hatch back coupe, whereas the Integra had been offered in coupe and sedan body styles. It came in both base and sportier, performance-oriented Type-S trim. Each used a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The 160-horsepower base model(155 hp 2006 models) could have a five-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic transmission. In the Type-S, the engine made 200 horsepower (210 hp 2006 models) and was available only with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Type-S had a firmer suspension, but the same 16-inch wheels and tires as the base model from 02-04. In 2005-2006 Type S models are tucked with 17-inch 5 spokes and base model is 16-inch twin 6 spokes. Both versions included antilock four-wheel disc brakes and front side airbags, plus automatic climate control and a sunroof. Leather upholstery was standard in the Type-S and optional for the base. The Type-S also contained an in-dash CD changer. Overall the rail is made to perform and a very attractive styling.
